Jessica Ann Simpson was born July 10, 1980, in Abilene Texas. Growing up in Richardson, Texas she lived a normal childhood as the daughter of a psychologist who was also a youth minister. It was in her father’s Baptist church where Jessica Simpson first developed her vocal skills and at the age of 12 Jessica auditioned for the Mickey Mouse Club, where her talents took her all the way to the finals. In the late 90's, Jessica signed with Columbia Records. “Sweet Kisses”, her major label debut, was released in 1999 followed by the smash singles "I Wanna Love You Forever," "I Think I'm In Love," and "Where You Are." Jessica married her longtime boyfriend and frontman of boyband 98 Degrees, Nick Lachey on the 26 October 2002.
